From 19 to 21 December 2025, six “Constitution and Basic Law” Student Ambassadors from HKCCCU Logos Academy — DS5I WONG Lai Ting, DS5I YU Ming Si, MS1E LEE Tin Ching Carson, MS1R NGAI Prisca Joy, MS1T KWOK Chun Ting, and MS1Y CHAN Lok Hei — took part in a remarkable rocket launch study camp in Wenchang, Hainan Province. The program was organized by our school’s National Education Team to broaden students’ horizons and deepen their understanding of aerospace development.

Program Highlights

  • Exploring Space Science: Students visited a space seed cultivation base, gaining insights into agricultural experiments in space.

  • Hands-on Experience: They observed a life-size rocket model and a simulated space capsule, and under professional supervision, safely constructed model rockets using gunpowder.

  • Witnessing a Historic Launch: On 20 December at 8:30 p.m., all participants gathered at the Wenchang Space Launch Site to witness the Long March 5 carrier rocket soar into the night sky, successfully delivering the Communication Technology Experiment Satellite-23 into its designated orbit.

Successful Completion

At the conclusion of the camp, retired backup astronaut Senior Colonel Chen Quan presented certificates to all participating students, symbolizing their successful completion of every training session and activity. This unforgettable experience not only enriched their knowledge but also inspired pride in the nation’s achievements in space exploration.
