On the morning of March 4, Under Secretary for Education Dr. Jeff Sze visited Logos Academy. He was warmly received by the SMC Chairman Rev. Chung, Supervisor Rev. Chung, and Principal Dr. Lee. During the visit, Dr. Sze gained a deeper understanding of the school’s unique “through-train” education model, its commitment to whole-person development, the promotion of national education, and the success of its interdisciplinary curriculum.

The visit began in the school hall, where guests enjoyed a live performance by the school’s wind ensemble, composed of both primary and secondary students—a testament to Logos Academy’s strong foundation in the arts and cultural heritage. Dr. Lee then introduced the school’s unique “11-year through-train curriculum”, which effectively fosters independent learning skills and strengthens students’ application of generic competencies. Within a vibrant academic atmosphere, students are inspired to pursue knowledge with passion and confidence. Benefiting from a cohesive learning environment that connects the primary and secondary campuses, Logos Academy nurtures joyful growth and individual development, where senior students care for their younger peers—embodying and passing on the school’s caring and supportive culture.

Deputy Principal Ms. Shum presented the design and distinctive features of the school’s interdisciplinary curriculum, showcasing outstanding student work that reflected the fruitful outcomes of cross-disciplinary learning. Students also shared with Dr. Sze the school’s strategies for implementing national education, demonstrating how curriculum enhancement and integration with experiential learning activities help strengthen students’ sense of national identity, patriotism, pride, and awareness of national security. Deputy Principal Mr. Leung, together with the school’s swim team members, later introduced the campus swimming pool facilities and the school’s swimming curriculum and training programs, highlighting the students’ confidence and enthusiasm.

At the Pastoral Care House, Assistant Principal Ms. Lui introduced the school’s comprehensive student support framework. Student leaders and peer counsellors shared their growth experiences and how they help uphold the school’s tradition of care and mentorship. Guests were deeply impressed by Logos Academy’s consistent culture of love and continuity through its 11-year educational journey.

The visit concluded with a group photo session. Logos Academy will continue to uphold the Christian spirit and its “through-train” educational philosophy, nurturing future generations with dedication and passion. To God be the glory.
