From February 15 to 16, 2025, the DS4 students of The HKCCCU Logos Academy participated in a values training camp organized by the Education Bureau and hosted by the Youth Police Corps. The camp took place at the Pat Heung JPC Training Centre and provided students with a unique opportunity to develop essential values and skills through a series of engaging and challenging activities.
One of the highlights of the camp was the Chinese-style drill training, which culminated in a flag-raising ceremony on the morning of February 16. Led by DS4E student Wang Yi-ting, the vice-captain of the school’s flag-raising team, the ceremony began at 8:00 AM. The students’ active participation and dedication during the ceremony reflected their strong sense of national identity and pride.
Throughout the camp, students were tasked with managing their dormitories, fostering self-discipline, independence, and teamwork. The program offered a wide range of experiential learning activities designed to instill the twelve priority values and attitudes emphasized by the Education Bureau. These included "Pat Heung Flying," special police ladder training, and rope descent exercises. Through these activities, students demonstrated values such as "Perseverance," "Commitment," and "Resilience," while also pushing their physical and mental boundaries.
